Built for the work that shaped the West.

The Rancher is a true cowboy boot in its purest form — honest, dependable, and made for the kind of days that start before sunrise. Cut from rugged French wax calf, the vamp offers durability that stands up to dust, brush, and miles in the saddle. Rising above it, the 16-inch calfskin shaft provides the extra protection working cowboys have relied on for generations when riding through mesquite and open country.

Designed with a traditional Rancher toe and a 1¾-inch heel carved in an extreme slant, the silhouette is built for comfort in the stirrup and confidence on the ground. A large spur ridge and a striking shark heel counter reinforce its working roots, while the fleur-de-lis floretta adds a touch of classic Paul Bond craftsmanship to the shaft. Finished with a traditional welt sole, the Rancher carries the strength and simplicity that define a true working boot.

It’s the kind of boot that doesn’t need dressing up — it’s built to earn its place in the dust and the saddle.

Made to order: shipping & returns

Your pair is started when you order and ships free and insured in about 3 months. Because each pair is built for you, made-to-order boots are reviewed case by case for returns under our refund policy. That's why a bootmaker confirms your size first. Read the full policy.

Care

Condition calfskin every few months; brush suede dry and treat it with a suede protector before first wear. Keep exotic leathers away from heat. Store with boot trees. When the sole wears, the welt lets a cobbler replace it.
