An old favorite with unmistakable Western pride.
The Colt was one of Paul Bond’s personal favorites — a boot he wore proudly and often. Its elegant fleur-de-lis stitching gives the shaft a distinctive character, adding just enough flourish to the classic Western silhouette without ever straying from tradition. It’s the kind of design that draws the eye the way a well-made saddle does — quietly, confidently, and with purpose.
Crafted from rich caramel calfskin, the Colt carries warmth and depth that only gets better with time. A striking crocodile heel counter adds texture and strength at the back of the boot, while the double-scallop top and croc-and-black buckstitch collar bring refined Western detail to the shaft. The silhouette is shaped with a sleek Summit toe and a balanced 1¾-inch heel with a medium slant, giving the boot a confident stance that feels equally at home in the saddle or stepping into town.
Finished with a traditional welt sole, classic pull straps, and black sideseam and piping accents, the Colt carries forward the craftsmanship and personality that made it one of Mr. Bond’s most beloved designs.
Handmade in Nogales, Arizona.
Built Upon Order
We begin crafting your boots the moment your order is placed. Each pair moves through a thorough, hands-on process that takes 3 months — true craftsmanship worth waiting for.
Fit & sizing
Men's 7–15 in D (average) and EE (wide). Women's 5–12 in B (average) and C (wide). Built on the original Paul Bond lasts, so they may fit differently from Bond Boots.
Made to order: shipping & returns
Your pair is started when you order and ships free and insured in about 3 months. Because each pair is built for you, made-to-order boots are reviewed case by case for returns under our refund policy. That's why a bootmaker confirms your size first. Read the full policy.
Care
Condition calfskin every few months; brush suede dry and treat it with a suede protector before first wear. Keep exotic leathers away from heat. Store with boot trees. When the sole wears, the welt lets a cobbler replace it.
